It’s a special reunion episode of Winging it with Zak and Brad, with former Sounders David Estrada and Andy Rose joining the pod!
Steve Zakuani and Brad Evans both played with Estrada and Rose during their stints in the Pacific Northwest, creating an atmosphere on the episode of old buddies catching up. With Estrada, they share their favorite memories from his time in Seattle and discuss Estrada’s establishing roots in Albuquerque since he’s joined New Mexico United in the USL Championship.
“I love Albuquerque, and I definitely want to stay here,” said Estrada. “I didn’t move here just for another stop along the journey. I definitely want to leave a lasting legacy. The move here wasn’t just to play soccer, it was to actually see where I can have an impact off the field as well.”
Zak and Brad are then joined by former Sounder and current Whitecaps midfielder Andy Rose. After breaking out with the Sounders, Rose moved to Coventry City in the English Championship. Now that he’s a veteran back in MLS, Rose has set his sights on becoming a coach when his playing days are done.
