Sounders FC defender Taylor Graham visited Thorndyke Elementary in Tukwila, Washington for a Together We Play program visit on Tuesday, June 14th. Graham spoke to Thorndyke's "School Leaders" from various grade levels before taking them outside to play some soccer. Thank you to Mrs. Goodman from Thorndyke elementary for helping make this happen!
Together We Play is a Sounders FC and Symetra Financial school initiative program that promotes the healthy development of youth. The Sounders FC and Symetra Financial encourage students to not only embrace a healthy and active lifestyle, but to also be active members of their diverse communities. Just as the Sounders FC players eat healthily and stay active to help their team succeed, the program asks students to do the same in their own lives - always striving to do and be their best selves!
Through the Together We Play program, local elementary school students will have a chance to hear firsthand how Sounders FC players follow these same principals on and off the field.Â
