Major League Soccer and the Seattle Sounders have partnered with Southern New Hampshire University and the USO to help keep our service members connected to family, home and country. During the first two weeks of July, SNHU will donate $2,000 to the USO for every goal scored by U.S. clubs and an additional $1 for every retweet of a goal announcement on social media.
With an impressive five goal performance on Wednesday night against FC Dallas, the Seattle Sounders topped the league, earning a $10,000 donation from SNHU towards the initiative. Sounders fans earned an additional $729 for the program by retweeting Sounders goals.
MLS fans can also do their part for our military by sending a message of support to show our service men and women that you stand behind them.
