Seattle Sounders midfielder Handwalla Bwana and defender Nouhou are currently observing Ramadan, Muslims’ holy month of fasting from dawn to dusk.
Nouhou used to have to have to practice alone until Bwana joined the team in 2018. Together, they’re leaning on each other to balance religion and professional soccer.
