The U-19s kicked off the new year with a dominant performance on the road. Midfielder Finn Hoffman opened the scoring in the 13th minute, latching onto a clever clipped pass from Tommy Case before rounding the goalkeeper and finishing into an empty net. Ten minutes later, Peter Kingston doubled the advantage with a vicious side-volley from just outside the area before Gabe Threadgold iced the match off a fantastic pass from Camilo Santiago.
Facing two games in two days, the U-17s started the weekend on fire, with a brace from Ethan Dobbelaere and powering the Rave Green to a 4-1 win. The young Sounders secured another victory the very next day, as a Kevin Soltys brace and a second-half strike from Bryson Hanks sealed the three points.
Finally, the U-15s picked up a couple of wins in impressive fashion. Striker Oscar Rincon and attacking midfielder Juan Alvarez put on an attacking clinic, with the pair combining for five goals and two assists across both matches.

Standout Performers

Coach’s Take
“It was quite a difficult weekend, as we were missing 10 boys who were with the First Team and five that were with the national team,” said Sounders FC Director of Player Development and Academy Director Marc Nicholls. “It was our first set of matches in two months, so it was a real test for our squads. So, if you look at it like a preseason exercise, it couldn’t have gone better. It was a chance for others to step up, and they did.”
