Tacoma Defiance Head Coach Hervé Diese reveals his lineup for tonight's U.S. Open Cup Round of 32 match against the Portland Timbers (7 p.m PT; Watch on CBS Sports & Paramount+) at Starfire Stadium. Here is the Starting XI:
LINEUP NOTES:
- Sounders First Team players Kalani Kossa-Rienzi, Reed Baker-Whiting, Georgi Minoungou, Stuart Hawkins and Andrew Thomas will all make starts tonight for Defiance.
- Just a few days after his First Team debut, Defiance forward Osaze De Rosario is set to start at the nine in Tuesday's Open Cup showdown.
- While the Sounders and the Timbers have a long-standing rivalry dating back to 1975, this will be the first time Tacoma Defiance and Portland's First Team will go head-to-head.
- Tacoma Defiance is unbeaten at home this season in both MLS NEXT Pro and Open Cup competition. Defiance recently defeated USL Championship's Oakland Roots at Starfire Stadium to advance to the Round of 32.
