The Portland Timbers edition of Sounders FC Classics, presented by Zulily, will feature Seattle’s dominant 4-2 victory over their neighbors to the south back on August 24, 2014. With over 50% of the vote, this marquee win beat out other iconic matches like the 4-4 draw in Portland and our 3-0 win in front of 66,000 supporters at CenturyLink Field in 2012.
Airing on May 23, this week's edition is part of SEAvPDX Week, a special joint venture between Sounders FC and the Portland Timbers featuring unique content and competitive opportunities for both fan bases.
Like all previous editions of Sounders FC Classics, the match will be televised on JOEtv, SoundersFC.com and the Sounders FC App within the Washington Broadcast Territory. There will also be a pre-match show, live-streamed on Twitter and Facebook, and hosted by club legend Brad Evans.
