The U.S. are in third place in the Hexagonal, the final round of CONCACAF qualifying, three points behind Costa Rica and just one ahead of fourth-place Panama. The U.S. fell to Costa Rica on the road last November, effectively ending Jurgen Klinsmann’s time at the helm, before routing Honduras in March behind a hat trick from Clint Dempsey.

Dempsey enters Matchday 7 tied with Landon Donovan for the all-time U.S. men’s goalscoring record with 57 tallies and was instrumental in leading the Yanks to July’s Gold Cup title. Jordan Morris is coming off a three-goal Gold Cup showing, including a late game-winner over Jamaica. Cristian Roldan earned his first cap against Martinique during the Gold Cup as well and has earned his second consecutive call-up from Head Coach Bruce Arena.
