Academy Squads Cruise against SoCal Opponents

Academy Update Image

Young forward Denis Kalamar led the way with three goals as the Sounders Academy experienced a very productive weekend.

Sounders FC Academy went unbeaten against their Southern California foes this past weekend, picking up three wins and a draw against Arsenal FC and Real SoCal. The U18’s drew with Arsenal on Saturday before defeating Real SoCal, 3-1, on Sunday behind two goals from Sam Langston. Denis Kalamar netted three goals over the weekend—giving him five on the season—as the U16’s came away with a weekend sweep.

The Academy returns to action when they travel down to California on October 20 for a matchup with San Juan Soccer Club.
