U18’s come away with 2-2 draw, while U16’s pick up their third-straight win.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Sounders FC Academy picked up a win and a draw in Sacramento this weekend as they returned to USSDA play with a road bout with San Juan FC at the Mathers Sports Complex. The U18’s (1-1-4, 7 points) came away with a 2-2 draw on goals by Ike and Cody Crook, while the U16’s (3-1-2, 11 points) picked up their third straight win thanks to two second half goals and a Jose Ramos brace.
Sounders FC Academy returns to action on November 3 when they host Cascadia rival Vancouver Whitecaps FC Academy at Starfire Sports Complex.

Ike Crook scored his fourth goal of the season and Cody Crook scored his first as the U18’s extended their unbeaten streak to four games (1-0-3). Jordan Kollars picked up an assist in his second straight game on the first goal as the Rave Green went up twice but surrendered an equalizer in each half.

Jose Ramos put Sounders FC up 1-0 in the 15th minute on a ball from Elliot Havens, then doubled the lead early in the second half when he finished into the low corner on a pass from Denis Kalamar. Abdi Abdullah put a free kick in the upper right corner of the net to make it 3-0 before San Juan scored a late goal.
