Brad Evans is a man of his word.
As Toronto FC defeated Montreal Impact to clinch the Eastern Conference Championship, Evans took to Twitter to promise fans that despite the travel north of the border, he had their back.
Less than 24 hours later, the man delivered. Evans posted a note on Twitter for fans to fill out and submit to their employer or school to "excuse" them from work ahead of the Dec. 10 MLS Cup Final at BMO Field (5 p.m. PT; FOX; KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360am).
So if you were still considering making plans, consider your decision made. Print your note, grab your passport, and get ready for the match. Brad and the boys will see you soon in Toronto.
