DALvSEA Starting XI: Seven changes for midweek clash against FC Dallas

In the second game of a three-match week on the road, Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes seven changes from the side that beat the Portland Timbers 1-0 on Sunday for tonight's Western Conference clash with FC Dallas (5:30 p.m. PT; Q13 FOX, Prime Video, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360AM) at Toyota Stadium. Lineup Notes:

  • After a dream debut in which he scored against Portland as a substitute, Nicolas Benezet makes his first start for the Rave Green.
  • Homegrown Players Danny Leyva, 18, and Josh Atencio, 19, start together at the base of Seattle's midfield.
  • Goalkeeper Spencer Richey makes his second start of the season. His first start for the Sounders came in their historic 1-0 victory over Austin FC on the road.
  • Forward Will Bruin makes his first start since June 26 after returning from injury.
