Forward Darwin Jones has been named to the USL Team of the Week for his performance against Arizona United SC on Saturday. Jones scored two goals, including the game-winner, as Seattle Sounders FC 2 claimed a thrilling 3-2 road win. It is Jones’ first nomination to the USL Team of the Week this season.
Midfielder Jordan Schweitzer was also named to the USL Team of the Week bench for his “Goals of the Week”-worthy chip goal in that same match to pull S2 level with United before the end of the first half.
