Following the team’s 2-1 win over FC Dallas at Lumen Field on Saturday night, Seattle Sounders attacker Jordan Morris was named to MLS Team of the Matchday for Matchday 10.
Morris contributed to the Sounders' second goal of the night in addition to an assist to Jesús Ferreira's opening goal, ultimately earning him a spot on the TOTM bench.
In the 15th minute, Morris found a wide open Ferreira near the top of the box, where he struck the ball towards the goal. The deflected shot had the ball going in a different direction to where FC Dallas goalkeeper Michael Collodi was diving, resulting in the first goal of the night for the home side.
Then in the 30th minute, Morris extended the lead to two after Snyder Brunell played a beautiful through ball to the long-time Sounder. From there, Morris booted the ball toward the far post, tallying his first goal of the season.
This marks Morris' first TOTM selection in 2026. His goal on Saturday marks his 149th across all-competitions since joining the club in 2021.
The Sounders return to action on Saturday, May 2 when they visit Sporting Kansas City at Sporting Park  (11:30 a.m. PT; FOX, Apple TV).
