FORM GUIDE (all competitions, most recent first): Seattle: WLLLW, LAFC: WWWLW

KEL(L)YN SUSPENSIONS: The Sounders will be without utility man Kelyn Rowe, who was sent off in Seattle’s 2-1 win over the Colorado Rapids last week. LAFC will be without United States national team central midfielder Kellyn Acosta, who is suspended on yellow-card accumulation.

BOUNCE BACK: Despite falling behind early against the Rapids and playing a man down for 45 minutes, Seattle flexed its mettle and earned a massive three points last week to snap a three-match losing streak.

MAGNIFICENT MORRIS: Jordan Morris is coming off one of his best performances of the season last week. In addition to scoring the opening goal and then drawing the penalty for Nicolás Lodeiro’s match-winner, Morris had five shots on target, three key passes and over a 90% pass completion rate.

LAFC ROLLING: The Black and Gold lead the Supporters’ Shield race and are near the top of almost every category in the league. They are second in MLS in goals scored (42), tied for third in goals allowed (22) and have lost just once at home in 11 matches.

SEISMIC SIGNINGS: LAFC made international headlines earlier this month when they acquired Wales captain Gareth Bale and Italian legend Giorgio Chiellini. Bale scored his first goal for his new club last week in a 2-0 win over Sporting Kansas City.

ARANGO ON FIRE: Arango, who scored against the Sounders a month ago, enters as the hottest striker in the league. The Colombian forward has scored in three consecutive matches and in seven of his last eight dating back to the end of May.
