Midfielder Nicolas Lodeiro received a surprise message from a close friend this week before he and the Seattle Sounders take on Toronto FC in the 2016 MLS Cup on Saturday (5 p.m. PT; FOX, TSN, UniMas, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360AM).
That friend just happens to be Barcelona forward and Uruguayan countryman Luis Suarez.
