Major League Soccer on Monday named Seattle Sounders forward Raúl Ruidíaz to the Week 35 Team of the Week for his efforts in a 2-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes.
Ruidíaz recorded his third brace for the Sounders, finding the equalizer in the 79th minute before finishing the game-winner in the third minute of stoppage time. He finished the regular season with 10 goals in just 13 starts since joining Seattle during the Secondary Transfer Window this summer.
The Sounders secured the No. 2 seed and a Knockout Round bye and will visit either LAFC, FC Dallas or the Portland Timbers in Leg 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Sunday, Nov. 4.
