For the second week in a row, MLS named Seattle Sounders midfielder Nicolás Lodeiro and defender Chad Marshall to the Team of the Week.
In Week 25, Lodeiro and Marshall helped lift the Sounders to a club-record sixth consecutive win with a 5-0 thrashing of the LA Galaxy. Lodeiro had two assists to bump his team-leading total to nine on the year, while Marshall scored in his second straight match and helped keep a clean sheet.
The Sounders are unbeaten in their last nine matches and will look to keep the streak going on Sunday in a massive rivalry road clash against the Portland Timbers (6:30 p.m. PT; FS1, YouTube TV, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM).
