In a stretch where 29-year-old midfielder Víctor Rodríguez scored four goals in three matches, the highlight was a stunning volley in a 2-1 win at Orlando City SC on Wednesday evening. As a result, MLS has nominated the Spaniard for Week 34 Goal of the Week.

In the third minute, defender Kelvin Leerdam delivered a deft ball over the top and into the center of the area, where Rodríguez converted a sensational goal off a volley.
Rodríguez joins joins Luciano Acosta (DC), Romain Alessandrini (LA), Jordan Mutch (VAN) and Wayne Rooney (DC) as nominees. Voting will take place until noon Pacific Time on Wednesday and you may only vote once.
