Major League Soccer announced on Thursday that La Liga’s Atlético de Madrid will be facing the best of MLS at the 2019 MLS All-Star Game on July 31 in Orlando, Fla.
MLSSoccer.com’s Andrew Wiebe created a potential All-Star Starting XI to beat Atlético and included three Sounders: midfielder Nicolás Lodeiro, left back Brad Smith and goalkeeper Stefan Frei.
Frei was a 2017 MLS All-Star and earned minutes in a penalty-kick shootout loss to Real Madrid.
