LINEUP NOTES:

  • Raúl Ruidíaz is starting up top tonight for the first time since March 18 at LAFC. The Peruvian has five appearances this season and scored his first goal of 2023 last weekend as a substitute against St. Louis.
  • Obed Vargas makes his first start of the season at midfield alongside João Paulo, who missed last weekend’s match against St. Louis with hamstring tightness.
  • Following a collision in last weekend’s match against St. Louis, Sounders FC’s medical staff evaluated Cristian Roldan for neck pain and has been monitoring him throughout the week for further concussion-related symptoms. Following yesterday’s evaluation, Roldan has been placed in concussion protocol and is out for tonight’s match.
