The Seattle Sounders top 2016’s edition of Google’s annual “Year in Search” list for MLS soccer teams, according to a report published by Google.
The Sounders won their first MLS Cup last Saturday, taking down Toronto FC 5-4 in penalty kicks after playing to a scoreless draw. Seattle held a city-wide rally and march on Tuesday to celebrate the accomplishment.
TFC, the Portland Timbers, Sporting Kansas City and D.C. United round out the top five.
