The Seattle Sounders are one step closer to winning their second continental title after booking their spot in the next round of Concacaf Champions Cup.

Following their 6-2 aggregate win in Round One against Antigua GFC, the Sounders have advanced the CCC Round of 16, where they will face Liga MX side Cruz Azul.

Seattle defeated Antigua 3-1 on the road in Leg One on February 19, with Paul Arriola, Pedro de la Vega and Albert RusnƔk getting on the scoresheet.

de la Vega and Arriola once again powered the Sounders to victory on Wednesday night, picking up another 3-1 win over the Guatemalan side at Lumen Field. Seattle's Argentine No. 10 opened the scoring in the 24th minute after being set up for a close-range shot by Jordan Morris. The visitors equalized on the brink of halftime, but the Sounders retook the lead in the 53rd minute when JesĆŗs Ferreira found Arriola inside the box for a composed finish. de la Vega iced the match in the 88th minute when he picked out the bottom corner following a perfect through ball from JoĆ£o Paulo.

The Sounders will host Cruz Azul in Leg One of the CCC Round of 16 on March 5 at Lumen Field (7:30 p.m. PT) before facing the Mexican club on the road on March 11 (4:30 p.m. PT) in Leg Two.

Tickets will be on sale for Season Ticket Members starting at 10:00 a.m. PT on Thursday, February 27. Public onsale will begin at 1:00 p.m. PT.
