The Seattle Sounders have climbed in the media’s Week 13 MLS Power Rankings after their 1-0 home win over the Portland Timbers.
The Sounders are No. 11 on MLSSoccer.com (No. 15 last week), No. 14 on SI.com (No. 16) and No. 15 on ESPN.com (No. 15).
“It doesn’t matter how you win rivalry games, just that you win them,” wrote MLSSoccer.com.
The Sounders will take on Columbus Crew SC on Wednesday night (4:30 p.m. PT; Q13 FOX, ROOT Sports, SoundersFC.com, El Rey 1360AM) at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, before hosting the Houston Dynamo on Sunday at 7 p.m. PT.
