EA Sports has named Seattle Sounders defender Roman Torresits third-strongest player in FIFA 17, the latest edition of one the company's most popular games.

Torres is listed at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds and is an imposing presence on the back line for Seattle and internationally for Panama. He started his first match for the Sounders on Saturday after missing nearly a year recovering from a torn ACL. He also appeared back in action for his national team and helped the squad secure a spot in the Hexagonal.
The game rates players' strengths based on their ability to overpower and hold off their opponents. FIFA 17 is releasing a demo on Sept. 13 that included the Sounders as one of 12 teams with whom a user can play before the game is released on Sept. 27. The Sounders are the only MLS club featured in the demo.
