- Head coach Brian Schmetzer employs the same Starting XI as he did against FC Dallas last Sunday in the first leg of the home-and-home series, a 3-0 win at CenturyLink Field.


- Nelson Valdez has scored in his last two matches and starts at forward for the second straight game. Jordan Morris starts on the left wing again after having one his best performances of the season in the first leg.


- After being a late scratch with a tight hamstring last week, Roman Torres is available for selection off the bench. Zach Scott starts again at center back, while Torres replaces Michael Farfan, who was in the 18-man roster last week.


- Midfielders Andreas Ivanschitz and Alvaro Fernandez were each ruled out on Friday and did not travel.
