Childhood Cancer Awareness month is here and we've got an easy way for you to help support the cause.
In collaboration with Major League Soccer, Seattle Sounders FC is participating in Scarftember which allows fans to support their team while donating to a good cause. Kick Childhood Cancer scarves are available now at MLSStore.com as well as in the downtown and CenturyLink Field Pro Shop locations. Proceeds from the Sounders-specific scarves as well as other #KickChildhoodCancer attire will support Children’s Oncology Group.
Throughout September, fans can contribute additional donations by posting images to Instagram and Twitter with their Sounders scarves using the #ScarvesUp hashtag. For each post submitted, MLS will donate $1 to the Children’s Oncology Group.
Fans will also have the opportunity to bid on exclusive Kick Childhood Cancer game-worn and autographed memorabilia during an online auction at the Kick Childhood Cancer site from Friday, Sept. 23 through Monday, Oct. 3.
