Five Seattle Sounders — Jordan Morris and Clint Dempsey (United States), Roman Torres (Panama), Joevin Jones (Trinidad and Tobago) and Nicolas Lodeiro (Uruguay) — have been called into their respective national teams ahead of upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. The U.S., however, sent Morris home on Saturday while he recovers from an ankle injury. He is currently “day-to-day.”

A Dempsey hat trick in his first international appearance in nine months punctuated a cathartic win, the U.S.’ first in the Hex. Sebastian Lletget, Michael Bradley and Christian Pulisic rounded out the scoring to secure head coach Bruce Arena’s first victory back in charge.

After their win against Panama last week, this match could bring T&T into the thick of qualifying. Hex leader Mexico is no easy challenge though, even with the Soca Warriors at home.

This one is a must-watch for Sounders fans as Seattle forward Dempsey will battle defender Torres in what is an always-raucous atmosphere in Panama City. After earning a crucial and emphatic three points against Honduras, the USMNT will try and keep the momentum going in a place where they are 2-0-1 all time.
Peru vs. Uruguay: 7:15 p.m. PT; beIN Sports en Español
What's on the line?
Lodeiro and Uruguay travel to Lima for an absolutely pivotal match with Peru on Tuesday. Currently eight points ahead of Peru, who drew 2-2 with Venezuela last week, even a draw in Lima would give Uruguay a major boost in putting one of their South American rivals permanently in their rear view heading into the final few qualifying matches.
