- Will Bruin replaces Raúl Ruidíaz in the starting lineup. Ruidíaz is out with a heel contusion that he suffered against the Vancouver Whitecaps last weekend.


- Harry Shipp is back on the matchday roster after returning from concussion protocol.


- This is the first time in five matches to start the season that the Sounders have used a different starting lineup.
