Posters by the People is back!
Sounders FC has announced it will re-launch the popular fan-driven design contest for the 2016 season. Driving the design process and creative direction for these posters, Sounders FC fans will have the opportunity to contribute a unique piece of club history that celebrates players, supporters, the city of Seattle and soccer culture. Submission forms and deadlines go live today, Feb.15, with the first poster designed by a local artist to be revealed at a later date.
Posters by the People is sponsored by Museum Quality Framing, the official framing partner of Sounders FC. Competition guidelines and deadline dates can be found online, and final poster entries can be submitted on the same platform. Winning designers receive match tickets, a special Sounders FC matchday experience, their specific poster in a limited-edition chromaprint, recognition on SoundersFC.com and on the CenturyLink Field video board, as well as an invitation to an exclusive end-of-season art event.
The Sounders begin their 2016 MLS campaign on Sunday, March 6 at home against Sporting Kansas City at 4:00 p.m. PT on FOX Sports 1.
