The Seattle Sounders stayed relatively static in the media’s Week 16 MLS Power Rankings following their 2-1 loss at New York City FC last Saturday.
The Sounders are No. 13 on MLSSoccer.com (No. 12 last week), No. 14 on ESPN.com (No. 15) and No. 16 on SI.com (No. 15).
“Seattle fell at NYC, but considering the conditions, don’t hold it against them too much,” wrote MLSSoccer.com. “They’ll bounce back on a day in which the ball can actually bounce again.”
The Sounders will host Orlando City SC on Wednesday (7:30 p.m. PT; JOEtv, KIRO Radio 97.3 FM, El Rey 1360 AM | TICKETS) before traveling to take on the Portland Timbers on Sunday.
