- Nicolás Lodeiro moves from defensive midfield last week to attacking central midfield on Sunday in the absence of the suspended Clint Dempsey. Jordy Delem slots into the spot vacated by Lodeiro next to Cristian Roldan.


- Defensive midfielders Osvaldo Alonso (quad strain) and Gustav Svensson (hamstring strain) are back from their respective injuries and are available off the bench.


- Midfielder Víctor Rodríguez misses his second straight match as he recovers from a right lateral quad strain.
