- New Designated Player Raúl Ruidíaz is available on the bench for the second straight match.
- Clint Dempsey returns to the lineup after missing last weekend’s match with groin tightness.
- Gustav Svensson is in the starting lineup for the first time since returning from the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, while Román Torres, who had been nursing an ankle injury suffered during the World Cup, is available on the bench.
- Kelvin Leerdam makes his first start since June 9 after recovering from a hamstring injury, while fellow right back Jordan McCrary is suspended because of a red card last weekend.
