- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes several changes to the lineup that faced C.D. Olimpia in the Concacaf Champions League on Thursday evening. Two starters from that match – Jordan Morris and Nouhou – are replaced by Danny Leyva and Miguel Ibarra, who makes his first start for the Sounders.


Joevin Jones moves to left back after starting on the wing in the first two matches, while Cristian Roldan moves out of the middle to the right midfield.


- New center back Yeimar Gómez Andrade makes the bench and is available selection, having completed his U.S. visa process.


Gustav Svensson (calf strain), Nicolás Lodeiro (hamstring tendinitis) and Will Bruin (ACL tear) are all unavailable through injury.
