The Home Openers edition of Sounders FC Classics, presented by Premera, will feature Seattle’s opening match of the 2019 season, when the Sounders overturned an early 1-0 deficit as they stormed out to a 4-1 win over MLS newcomers FC Cincinnati. Marking his first MLS regular season start since the 2017 season, Homegrown winger Jordan Morris celebrated his return to the pitch with a brace in front of a raucous crowd at CenturyLink Field.
Re-airing on Saturday, June 20, this memorable match sparked the club’s best-ever start to a season, as the Rave Green posted four straight victories to kick off the campaign.
