MID-WEEK BLIP: Prior to Dallas' 1-0 loss to Minnesota United on Wednesday, April 22, the Texas side was riding a five-match unbeaten streak with 2 wins and 3 ties. The result dropped them down 8th in the Western Conference standings.
WILL THE REAL MOOSE PLEASE STAND UP?: It will be an attacking battle of the “moose” on Saturday for Sounders forward Danny Musovski and Dallas forward Petar Musa. Musovski scored a career-high 14 goals last season and earned his first North Macedonia call-up recently, while Musa is a FIFA World Cup hopeful for Croatia and currently leads MLS with nine goals in 2026.

It really can’t be anyone else. Musa has been a home run of a Designated Player signing since joining Dallas in 2024 from Portuguese giants Benfica. He already has 43 goals and 10 assists in 68 matches and has statistically been the most influential player in MLS so far this season. According to American Soccer Analysis, he leads MLS with 4.97 Points Added for his team. No other player in the league has more than 3.58.
