- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes one changes from the Sounders' 1-1 draw against the Portland Timbers on May 17 with Pedro de la Vega replacing Danny Muosvski.
- Sounders FC midfielder Albert Rusnák is just one goal away from becoming the second player in MLS history to record at least 25 goals and 25 assists with multiple clubs. He scored the club's lone goal against Portland on May 17.
- Seattle has not lost a home match this year in all competitions (4-0-3), most recently defeating St. Louis 4-1 on May 3 at Lumen Field. The Rave Green have only lost two regular season home matches of their last 25 dating back to 2023 (12-2-11).
