- For the third straight match, Schmetzer utilizes a three-man central midfield of Obed Vargas, João Paulo and Albert Rusnák. Club captain Nicolás Lodeiro lines up on the right wing.
- Center back AB Cissoko gets his first MLS start of the year in place of Jackson Ragen, who misses the match due to yellow card accumulation.
