- Coach Schmetzer makes four changes for tonight's match, with Jordan Morris, Albert Rusnák, Obed Vargas and Nouhou coming in for Héber, Josh Atencio, Nicolás Lodeiro and Reed Baker-Whiting.
- The Sounders can clinch a spot in the 2023 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs with a win tonight vs. the Galaxy. The Rave Green can also qualify with a Minnesota loss/draw vs. LAFC or an FC Dallas loss/draw against the Colorado Rapids.
- Stefan Frei’s 12 shutouts this season are tied for first in MLS and one shy of the single-season club record he set in 2017.
