The Seattle Sounders are hosting LAFC on Saturday afternoon in the teams' first of two meetings this season. Here is everything you need to know:

WHEN AND WHERE: Kickoff is at 1:45 p.m. PT at Lumen Field (TICKETS).

WHERE TO WATCH: The match will be available to watch on FOX, FOX Deportes and MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

WHERE TO LISTEN: The match will air in English on 93.3 KJR FM and in Spanish on El Rey 1360 AM.

2024 RECORDS AND STANDINGS: Sounders: 0-1-1 (1 point, 12th West), LAFC: 2-0-0 (6 points, 3rd West)

PREVIOUS MEETING: The Sounders defeated LAFC 2-1 at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles on Nov. 23, 2024 in the Western Conference Semifinals. An own goal in the 59th minute and an extra-time goal from Jordan Morris secured the victory for the Rave Green and their spot in the Western Conference Finals.

DEEP SQUAD: The new additions of Paul Arriola and Jesús Ferreira combined with the strong returning core of the team gives Head Coach Brian Schmetzer the ability to make rotations in the lineup and throughout the duration of the match while maintaining the same level of intensity on the pitch.

MILESTONE FOR MORRIS: If Jordan Morris scores on Saturday, he will become the club's all-time leading goal-scorer with 87 goals. He is currently tied with former striker Raúl Ruidíaz.

SALISH SEA KIT HOME DEBUT: The Sounders will wear the Salish Sea Kit for the first time at Lumen Field on Saturday afternoon. Two of the three Coast Salish weavers who inspired the design of the kit — Connie McCloud of the Puyallup Tribe and Gail White Eagle of the Muckleshoot Tribe — will be in attendance, performing "Scarves Up" with other collaborators of the Salish Sea Kit. Additonally, McCloud will be performing a special pitch blessing in front of the crowd and a private blessing for The Salish Sea Kits in the locker room. The two weavers will be available for a meet & greet at the T-Mobile End Zone pre-match from 12:30 p.m. - 1 p.m.

HEAVY SCHEDULES: Both LAFC and the Sounders have been dealt with an excess amount of matches over the last few weeks due to their involvement in the Concacaf Champions Cup. The two teams will have limited time to rest before facing each other on Saturday; LAFC played Columbus Crew on Tuesday while the Sounders hosted Cruz Azul on Wednesday night in the first leg of the international competition's Round of 16.

BIG DEPARTURES: Mateusz Bogusz, Omar Campos and Cristian Olivera departed from the Black & Gold during the offseason, leaving its attack slightly thinner than it was the year prior. Bogusz and Campos headed to Liga MX's Cruz Azul while Cristian Olivera made the move to Grêmio of Brazil’s Campeonato Série A.

BEWARE OF BOUANGA: Designated Player Denis Buoanga returns to LAFC for a fourth season and is already off to a strong start. Known for his offensive prowess and knack for goal, Buoanaga has already collected two goals and two assists in LAFC's first five matches of the year (all-comps).
