The Seattle Sounders are taking on the Portland Timbers (7:00 p.m. PT; JOEtv, Prime Video, 950 KJR AM, El Rey 1360 AM) at CenturyLink Field on Sunday night. Here is the Delta Starting XI:

NOTES:


  • Head Coach Brian Schmetzer rolls out the nearly the same starting lineup he used for the away fixture at Providence Park, with Jordy Delem coming in for Gustav Svensson, who is away with the Swedish national team.
  • Striker Raúl Ruidíaz enters the match with seven goals and two assists from six MLS games against the Timbers.
  • If the Sounders pick up three points on Sunday night, it will mark the 100th MLS regular season win for goalkeeper Stefan Frei during his time with Seattle.
