- Coach Schmetzer utilizes the same formation and lineup from the club's 2-2 draw at Estadio Olímpico Universitario in Leg One of the CCL Final.
- Away goals do not count as a primary tiebreaker. With the scored tied at 2-2 following the first leg, if tonight’s match is tied after 90 minutes, the two teams will play two 15-minute extra time periods, followed by penalty kicks if necessary.
- The club announced yesterday a record-breaking crowd will be in attendance this evening, selling north of 67,000 tickets. That number puts Sounders FC on track to break the previous record of 66,208 that was established in the 2014-2015 Semifinal second leg between Club América and Herediano at Estadio Azteca.
- Midfielder Cristian Roldan leads the 2022 SCCL tournament with five assists, while Nicolás Lodeiro is tied for second with four goals and Jordan Morris and Fredy Montero are tied for third with three goals.
