- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes two changes from the Sounders' 1-0 win against FC Dallas on May 24 with Paul Rothrock and Jonathan Bell replacing Pedro de la Vega and Yeimar.
- With his goal against Dallas, Albert Rusnák became just the second player in MLS history to record at last 25 goals and 25 assists in the regular season with two different clubs, joining Steve Ralston (Tampa Bay, New England). Rusnák amassed 41 goals and 39 assists with Real Salt Lake in the regular season from 2017-2021.
- Seattle has not lost a home match this year in all competitions (5-0-3). The Rave Green are the only Western Conference side and just one of two teams in MLS to not lose a match at home this year (Cincinnati).
