PREVIOUS MEETING: The Sounders and Earthquakes played to a 1-1 draw at PayPal Park in Northern California on March 29. Beau Leroux opened the scoring for the hosts in the 32nd minute before Albert Rusnák equalized in the 80th to split the points.
THROWBACK WEEK: The Sounders will continue their Throwback Week on Saturday and will wear their special-edition Orca kits again after debuting them midweek against the Colorado Rapids.

MLS ALL-STAR SELECTIONS: Austin FC Head Coach and 2025 MLS All-Star Game Manager Nico Estévez added both Sounders midfielder Vargas and San Jose Earthquakes winger Cristian Espinoza to his squad earlier this week. Vargas is one of the league’s best young midfielders, while Espinoza is second in the league in assists with 11 and first in Key Passes with 72.
