- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes two changes from the lineup that defeated Sporting Kansas City on Saturday. Nouhou and Pedro de la Vega replace Georgi Minoungou and Reed Baker-Whiting.
- Goalkeeper Stefan Frei reached 113 regular-season shutouts in the Rave Green's 2-0 win on Saturday, moving him into sole possession of second all-time in league history among goalkeepers.
- This is the second and final time the two teams will face each other in 2024 regular season compeitition. The San Jose Earthquakes defeated the Sounders 3-2 on March 23 at PayPal Park.
