- Head Coach Brian Schmetzer makes eight changes to the lineup, with Stefan Frei, Jonathan Bell, Cody Baker, Reed Baker-Whiting, Snyder Brunell, Georgi Minoungou, Danny Leyva and Kalani Kossa-Rienzi replacing Andrew Thomas, Jackson Ragen, Nouhou, Alex Roldan, Obed Vargas, Pedro de la Vega, Jesús Ferreira, and Paul Rothrock.
- Seattle sits in fourth place in the Western Conference with 41 points (11-7-8), while SKC sits in 13th place with 24 points (6-14-6). The Rave Green defeated Kansas City 3-2 last month at Children's Mercy Park.
- Sounders FC defender Yeimar is set to hit 200 all-competition apperances with his next appearance. The Colombian international was named to the MLS Best XI in 2021 and 2024.
