This may be my best Social Timeline ever...and it doesn't include one single goal. How is that possible you ask? Well, your Seattle Sounders Football Club has advanced to the Western Conference Championship and will face the hated LA Galaxy for the third and fourth time in the last month. Heyyyyy nowwwwww.
The Dallas series was a grind-it-out contest that saw the Sounders move on the away-goals rule thanks to Ozzie Alonso's headed effort in Leg One. Monday night's 0-0 affair had everything but the goals. It was thrilling back and forth stuff, little bit of the pushing and shoving, an awesome rendition of the National Anthem, a sweet card display, glowsticks, THE LOT. Credit to FCD for putting up quite the fight but the Seattle-LA series is going to be something else entirely.
