Coming off a thrilling 3-0 win over Querétaro on Sunday evening, the Sounders will play three more home matches in the next week, beginning tomorrow against Liga MX side Chivas de Guadalajara in Leagues Cup.
Following Wednesday’s match, the Rave Green will make a quick pivot to MLS regular season competition where they will face the Vancouver Whitecaps on Sunday before taking on Austin FC on August 19.
Three exciting matches, all at home. Fans won’t want to miss these matchups. Here is a quick rundown of what to expect as the Sounders look to finish out their home stretch on a high note:
Wednesday, Aug. 12 vs. Chivas de Guadalajara
Wednesday’s match against Chivas marks the final Phase One match of 2026 Leagues Cup competition for Seattle. Despite falling to Toluca FC in the opening Phase One match, their win over Querétaro on August 9 has given them a fighting chance to potentially move onto the knockout rounds. With only the top four teams from each league moving on, the Sounders will need to have a multi-goal win over the Liga MX giants with other MLS teams dropping points in the final match of Phase One.

Sunday, Aug. 16 vs. Vancouver Whitecaps

Earlier this year, the Sounders displayed a dominant performance against the Canadian side in Concacaf Champions Cup, defeating them in both Round of 16 legs to move onto the Quarterfinals. Sunday’s match is not only an opportunity to continue that winning streak over the ‘Caps, but to also snag their first win in MLS play since May 13.
