Sounders FC and RAVE Foundation today announced open registration for the 2018 Rave Green Run, presented by CHI Franciscan Health. Fans wishing to take part in the annual 5K, benefitting Rave Foundation, can register at RaveGreenRun.org. Registration for the September 15 race is $30 through June 30, and $35 from July 1 through September 12.
This year’s race promises a fun and family-friendly course in Tukwila, Wash., providing runners with an authentic Sounders FC experience as they run along the area’s trails through the Starfire Sports campus, home of Sounders FC. The race ends at Westfield Southcenter, where runners and spectators alike can enjoy refreshments, entertainment and awards at the Finish Line Festival presented by Dasani.
Each participant crossing the finish line receives a finisher medal, with both overall awards and age group awards offered, and professional race photos also available. Additionally, participants are provided special discounts for use at Westfield Southcenter and JC Penny.
All proceeds from the Rave Green Run benefit RAVE Foundation, the official charitable arm of Sounders FC. RAVE Foundation works throughout the Puget Sound region, using soccer as a vehicle to inspire youth and strengthen communities.
