For the sixth edition (Saturday, April 25) of Sounders FC Classics, a new series in which we re-air some of the best matches in club history, we want you to choose the next match!
Presented by TCL, the three options fall under the theme of epic comebacks, highlighting the ‘Sounders Never Quit’ mentality that has been deeply ingrained throughout the club.
The first option is Seattle’s 3-3 draw with the New England Revolution in 2017, in which the Rave Green erased a 3-0 deficit in the 54th minute earn a massive point at home. Later that summer, the Sounders found themselves 3-0 down at home to D.C. United, before storming back in the biggest comeback in MLS history to win 4-3. Will Bruin’s last-gasp goal seven minutes into second-half stoppage minute to earn a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Minnesota United in 2018 rounds out the group.
